🗣️I just received confirmation from my Ukrainian friend from Spravzhni #Ukraine, a grassroots group doing vital humanitarian work, that the lifesaving tourniquets I mailed in Nov. 2025 from the U.S. for the heroes on the frontline in #Kherson have reached the defenders.

🎯Whether it’s donating, raising awareness, or simply sending a message of encouragement, every bit of support matters.

Humanitarian workers, including from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs ( #OCHA) in Ukraine and the World Health Organization ( #WHO) in Ukraine, were on a mission to provide humanitarian aid to a heavily war-impacted community that had not received assistance for months. When the aid workers were on site, intensive artillery fire started, and later, during offloading, two clearly marked trucks of the World Food Programme #WFP were targeted by first-person-view drones. Fortunately, the humanitarian workers were not injured, but two trucks were damaged and set on fire.

Kherson holds a special place in my 💙💛 heart. I’ve been there twice as a humanitarian volunteer, and I think about them every day. Before I left, I made a promise: I would continue supporting them from the 🇺🇸 U.S.—in action, not just words.
