Keeping my promise to my friends in #Kherson 🇺🇦
Kherson holds a special place in my 💙💛 heart. I’ve been there twice as a humanitarian volunteer, and I think about them every day. Before I left, I made a promise: I would continue supporting them from the 🇺🇸 U.S.—in action, not just words.

🕯️ Personal Update | Honoring My Fallen Friend at Kyiv’s Independence Square 🇺🇦
Today I visited Oleg Salynk, age 28, from #Kherson —a #humanitarian volunteer who embodied courage, compassion, and an unforgettable sense of humor.
Oleg welcomed me during both of my trips to Kherson in 2023 and 2024. He always said to me with a smile, “It’s ok, bro,” as we practiced translating English and Ukrainian.
🙏🏽 I would’ve traveled here for no other reason than to honor him.

Update from Kharkiv 🇺🇦
I just received word that the ⛑️tourniquets I sent were added to first aid kits—and they’re now with the heroes of the 44th Brigade.
This is one of five batches I’ve sent to friends across Lviv, Kyiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv. 🇺🇸Since 2022, I’ve supported Ukraine both as a humanitarian volunteer and from home. That promise continues.
