Note the covered staircase on the two story wood sided building. Somebody upstairs didn't want to break their neck descending the stairs is a snow storm. Or maybe somebody did break their neck, hence the added covering. 😬 Love the addition of a little window at the top of the staircase.

The Esztergom coal loader (Hungarian: Esztergomi szénrakodó) is a rusting relic located in the Danube River of Hungary.
Nearly 100 years old, this abandoned industrial structure once played a key role in Hungary’s coal distribution network.
Today it is a ramshackled hulk. A slowly disintegrating skeleton of concrete and rusted steel succumbing to time and the elements.

The cool smoke-like effect is created using neutral density filters, which allow for long exposure photos and produce this gorgeous ethereal effect.

An abandoned pottery factory, somewhere in #France
The small French #pottery works thrived for decades. It remained modest, while competitors expanded and modernised. While this gives the #ruins a quaint charm, it was certainly a major factor in their closure!
Inside, the upper floors have long rows of wooden racks stacked with 100s of moulds. Heavy pieces were moved on wooden carts along a rail system.
