#Ivory is so amazing. 😍
This is really painful to acknowledge. I've avoided trying it because I was sort of suspecting it would feel this way... and I'm on Ubuntu and eOS/Android 😢
There's no chance of you ever creating an Android or Linux version? 🥺 @tapbots @ivory I guess a PWA would do just fine too.
I guess you must get asked this all the time, but I find no FAQ or similar on your web site.
Sorry for the wait, but Ivory v2.4 is finally available on the App Store! Features support for the official quote posts (assuming your server is running Mastodon 4.5 or later) and we've made big improvements to fetching replies and post metadata in the post detail views.

I'm working on my laptop and I wanted to open up my dedicated Fediverse app... except that I thoughtlessly clicked on #Tweetbot instead of #Ivory...
... and was reminded once again of the absolute wreckage that EM created.
Don't get me wrong, I find the Fediverse far far superior and the best social media experience of my life. I don't miss Twitter in that respect.
But for nostalgia reasons I kept the Tweetbot app installed... I just hope that the Tapbots folks (who made Tweetbot and then the excellent Ivory) are doing well. I remember reading they were struggling since the demise of Twitter. Le sigh. They even made this excellent page, in loving memory of Tweetbot:

Semi-related but the BEST article from 404 Media that I read in recent memory is this:

A small but big thing: every profile UX on the open social web should copy #Threads: Show the full handle w/ domain plus a “Copy” button in account details. None do now—Mastodon, Bluesky, PixelFed, etc. Only Threads does, and it’s a must-have.
Eagle-eyed product developer @parkerortolani spotted something in Apple's WWDC 2025 presentation: Mastodon. During designer Billy Sorrentino's section on visual intelligence, there's a clear shot of @ivory. "It was clearly both a way to subtly show developers what they can do with their own apps, but also read as a sort of endorsement of Mastodon as a social platform," Ortolani writes on his blog. "Apple didn’t show Bluesky, Threads, or X. They chose to show a third-party Mastodon client."
