#introduction I am a #canadian new to Mastodon. It’s nice to be here!
I am an outgoing introvert who enjoys #hiking #cycling #curling #camping #walking #beach #reading #cooking #baking #singing #snowshoeing #skiing #paddleboarding #photography and being with family and friends. I am #genx and like #rockmusic the most - but do enjoy almost all #music

I grew up, watching #HulkHogan with my younger brothers. I started hating him, during those early 80s times. I first started hating him for his misogyny. Then, hated him more when he treated Andre the Giant abusively. I also remember his racist shit. Fuck that guy beyond the grave. He was a fascist, bigoted POS. Burn in hell, muthafucka.

Also - he likely died from #covid cardiac arrest because the fidiot didn't believe covid was serious either.

@lauren Well at least I’m pretty sure us #GenX ppl would finally get a word in edgewise, and also a chance to use EBCDIC more. Awesome.

At work, when I test new systems and create accounts, I use names of fictional characters from books and tv. Recently, I used "Wolfman Jack" and my much younger team asked if that was a werewolf movie.

I had to explain Wolfman Jack was a DJ FROM THE 60s and 70s but he voiced an 80s Saturday morning cartoon called "Wolf Rock" where they showed music videos interspersed with a pretty bad scripted cartoon.

This is what we had for entertainment without cable.
