💡 In der #Familie weiß es möglicherweise niemand so ganz genau: War Onkel Fritz ein glühender Nationalsozialist oder doch nur ein Mitläufer? War er als selbständiger Handwerker von 1933 an Mitglied der NSDAP oder hat er sich dem Regime nur zögernd angedient? Und wie stand es um Oma Lisa: War sie wirklich aktive Unterstützerin des Nationalsozialismus, vielleicht sogar in einer Funktion bei der Nationalsozialistischen Frauenschaft, oder stand sie als ehemaliges Mitglied des SPD-nahen Allgemeinen Deutschen Gewerkschaftsbund wie ihr Bruder Emil vielleicht gar in Opposition, wie mancher zu wissen meint?
👉 In einem eineinhalbstündigen Online-Seminar führt Hartmut Obst in das biografische Forschen in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus ein und zeigt Möglichkeiten und Wege eigener personen- und familiengeschichtlicher Recherchen auf.

Anyone know if there's an "Anna's Archive"-type free repository for standards documents, like from UL, CSA, IEC, ISO, etc? You know, the ones that are mostly developed with public subsidies but then are paywalled at absolutely ludicrous prices that mean only big companies can actually get access to them?
Searching a bit didn't find anything for me.

Today, the universe wanted to reaffirm my belief that more people should ensure they have local copies of anything they think they might ever need.
- picked up a project I hadn't touched in a few months to find some of the build scripts failing - because the decades old mirror they were attempting to pull packages from has apparently been offline for months.
- then I went to check a popular git repo and got hit with: "site administrator has misconfigured anubis" (worked around it...but still)
I have no idea how long they last but 2TB micro sd cards are such a cool concept for archiving I like to imagine different ways to hide them like if they start banning books and doing censor house raids

Does anyone have a copy of MOJO Magazine, March 2004, that they could check for the picture at the start of the thread?
Internet Archive hasn't been much help here, and the only place this specific image seems to exist online is on a TV Tropes page...so I have no real way to verify the source of this image.
The closest lead I have is a blog post, quoting a MOJO piece from their March 2004 issue. (linked and quoted; previous in thread)
