Decaturish is reporting a company is seeking a special zoning permit to build a million sqft #DataCenter in a Bouldercrest (southeast #Atlanta / southewest #DekalbCountyGA) residential zone. The company claims residential is justified because a data center is a utility structure (like a small power substation, iiuc). I'll be contacting my county reps; I hope other Dekalb folks do to.

These Residents Built a $10,000 Bike Lane in Atlanta
"Just completed: turning street parking on one side of Virgina Avenue NE into a pop-up, protected, two-way bike lane, connecting a local high school and elementary school.
The project took a year from concept to execution, with 36 volunteers spending two mornings building the project and 42 community members donating a total of $10,000 to make it all happen."
