A seating chart shows that #Putin & #Trump were supposed to sit across from each other during the luncheon. Trump would be flanked by: Secy of State #MarcoRubio, Secy of #Defense #PeteHegseth & WH Chief of Staff #SusieWiles to his right, & Secy of #Treasury #ScottBessent, Secy of #Commerce #HowardLutnick & Special Envoy for Peace Missions #SteveWitkoff to his left. Putin would be seated next to his Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey #Lavrov, & his Aide for Foreign Policy, Yuri #Ushakov.

Also Friday, #Commerce Secy Howard Lutnick sent a letter to Alan M. Garber, #Harvard’s president, claiming that the #university had not lived up to its obligations surrounding federally funded #patents, which are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Acc/to the letter, the agency will begin a comprehensive review of Harvard’s compliance w/federal #law.
The new pressures on Harvard come during a week when the govt had also taken significant steps to bring other schools into line with its agenda.

@toychicken Yeah, I agree, we need "content creators" here - musicians, artists, writers - first posting alongside the others, then eventually posting on the Fediverse first.

Sorry to offend the anarcho-socialists, but I think the creators will come when we give them the ability to earn money on the Fediverse. Control your output; Build a network; sell your stuff here. See the numbers make sense.
