hey um. we still need donations as soon as possible.

we had to hand over 99% of our money yesterday because the rate here is so high, which has left us unable to buy food or do laundry.

on top of that we only have until the 31st to make another payment to this hotel, and my mother does not get her $220 from the state until the 2nd.

she's already been taken to the hospital once because of the fear of being unable to pay. if we have to leave it will be worse. we need your help right now.

hey everyone - me and my family still need your help and donations.

on the 23rd, unless something radically changes, we will be forced to be out on the street until the 28th when my brother gets his $200 disability payment from the state. suffice to say we will not make it if that happens.

massachusetts has become way too expensive for us. we are in the grips of tourist season, and every hotel's rate has shot up. the stress of that, plus the fact that we are effectively being forced to stay in rundown dirty hotels because that's all we can afford (barely at that), has been taking a significant toll on mom's mental health. my brother keeps having to talk her down from...well, you know what because of all of the stress we're under.

we want to leave, or at the very least, have enough so that we can relocate to someplace more normal, pay for more than 2 or 3 days, and rebuild the life we lost because of our eviction 2 years ago. but we cannot do that without your help.

yes, i have a high goal. but this will LITERALLY save our lives. i am not losing the only parent me and my brother have to the street. we have nowhere else to go.

Mastodon is a wonderful community of very generous people. You all have helped me so much over the past couple of years, and now, I'm going to beg you to help a dear friend.

Isabeau lives in Australia. She lost her job few weeks ago, and has been applying to every place that is taking applications--everything from dog grooming to fast food to IT work.

She has a few leads, and is SO CLOSE to securing employment, but her savings have run out.

She just needs to cover a couple of weeks of rent, and have food for her animals. All of her furry babies are rescues, most of which were initially scheduled to be put down, but she gave them a new chance at a life of love.

I seriously cannot express how much good this woman has put into the world, and now I'm hoping the world will return some of that good.
