one of the more ominous emails in the #epsteinfiles collection is a conversation where #SteveBannon and #Epstein discuss "coin issues", "campaign donations", and "foreign donors" in response to an email about General #MikeFlynn not being trusted with classified intel by the #obama administration.
we can be sure they’re talking about #crypto in the context of campaign donations + foreign donors because epstein asks bannon about "brocks people" (meaning #BrockPierce who’s involved with #Tether / #EOS / lots of chinese exchanges / #Netanyahu / etc) then saying he found a right wing “swiss” crypto bro to work with in #Zug named #JeffreyWernick (who apparently is a Substackoor should you want to test out putting his name in that Substack search bar)
also note the scare quotes around the word "swiss". #Zug is actually a city in #switzerland but #epstein's pretty clearly saying that the crypto bros in Zug aren’t actually swiss.

Ich habe derzeit OsmAnd (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.osmand), bin aber damit nicht so richtig happy. Ich möchte manchmal Gehdistanzen messen, ohne gleich eine Route zu erstellen oder Navigation zu starten.
I recently installed @e_mydata on an old phone.
And i must say I'm delighted. It feels snappy, installing aid is no problem without authenticating to the play store, everything works.
I still need to wrap around some features like parental control (how can i temporarily disable it e.g. to install apps?) and the multi user feature (how can i install apps for all users, make another user admin?).
Trying all this on an old phone enables me to test everything and prepare the next step to #degoogle

Some big news regarding mobile OSes:
First, Graphene OS has confirmed a partnership with a large OEM to bring support to non-Pixel devices (Snapdragon SoC):

This is good news, but IMHO it only delays the unavoidable demise of free AOSP-based projects since Google is now finally pulling the rug.
Second, the FSF announced Librephone, an initiative to bring real freedom to mobile devices:

This is also good, but it must be taken in the right perspective: Librephone, as far as I understand it, is not a new mobile OS, but rather an initiative to open-source existing proprietary firmware blobs. AOSP-based open source OSes like Lineage, Graphene, and even /e/OS, will hopefully benefit from this initiative, by being able to replace binary blobs with open-source firmware. But they still remain AOSP-based solutions, and therefore bound to the Google ecosystem.
There are two problems here that really need to be addressed.
The first one is political. Legislators and citizens must come to acknowledge that a democratic society where the full mobile ecosystem is in the hands of a corporate duopoly is not acceptable.
The second one is technological: AOSP is not a fully free OS, it's a trojan horse, a trap set by Google years ago that is springing right now. We need to move away from Android and embrace full GNU/Linux solutions, or even something completely new, at this point I don't even care. I've heard good opinions of Postmarket OS. Any feedbacks here?

Le mode Relief 3D de l'appli Cartes IGN : c'est beau, et ça enrichit vraiment la carte ! Par contre, chez moi sous Android ça rame sévère, le déplacement n'est pas fluide du tout. Mais fonctionnalité à suivre !

Auj, une amie a reçu son Fairphone 5 avec #eos dessus dans une démarche #degafamisation. Mais après avoir allumé son tel, elle est tombée sur une App Lounge vide de toute appli. Et peu importe sa recherche, ça disait ça (voir photo). Elle a fini par redémarrer le téléphone et ça s’est réglé. Ça l‘a bcp refroidi et elle se demande si les bugs sont récurrents. En sachant qu’elle est pas geek, ni de près, ni de loin, elle veut juste un service qui marche. Est-ce un bon choix ?

Ontgoogled, maar niet ontgoocheld. Mijn Fairphone Gen.6 met e/OS ingesteld. Mijn e-mail en contactenlijst van het privacy-vriendelijke Mailfence, mijn kalender en foto's gesynct met mijn NAS in de woonkamer. En alle andere apps werken gewoon zoals het hoort.
Kleine bug: de Google Authenticator kan niet aan de camera om QR codes te scannen, ook al geef je hem de rechten. Dus een andere authenticatie-app gebruiken.
Vanaf nu heb ik alleen nog maar Google nodig voor Youtube.
A proposito di Android degooglizzato, e siccome siete di una reattività e disponibilità disarmante (🫶), non è che per caso avete un opinione su cosa scegliere tra Murena, Graphene e altre versioni di /e/oS/ che si trovano in giro?
Non le ho ancora mappate, ma ammetto che ogni passo verso la libertà da bigtech è talmente pieno di opzioni che mi sento velocemente overwhelmed.
Quindi chiedo l’opinione del pubblico-se ve ne siete già fatta una.
