I think I finally managed to find a solution for the cable mess created by the five different antennas (WLAN, Bluetooth, 2xLTE, GNSS) in my #MNT Pocket Reform. Instead of pasting the antennas to the lid, I created a thin sheet of acrylic which I can then stick the antennas to. That way, opening up the Pocket Reform display plate will no longer mess with the cabling. Every small and big tech CEO and community manager has to make this choice. It's easier for some.
My requirement is very simple: I don't want to have to buy more than one #laptop in my life.

I just re-flashed my #MNT #PocketReform keyboard to match the Preonic layout that I've been using for years. My fingers are a little bit confused again, but hopefully less so than they were switching back and forth!
Flashing was easy and worked fine business.

Because I wouldn't expect a local council to be the right people to design laptops, right enough. But grApple are literally the last company I'd give money to if I was buying one new, precisely *because* they such an autocracy.
As well as all the reasons @codinghorror explained here back in 2008;
https://blog.codinghorror.com/why-doesnt-anyone-give-a-crap-about-freedom-zero/
... among many, many others, like these;

So who would I give that money to instead?
(1/?)
If I was buying a new laptop, instead of giving money to grApple, I'd probably give it to a more collaborative company, like;
* #Framework @frameworkcomputer)
... or one of the companies listed here;
For a laptop that serves the interests of me and mine. Unlike grApple's digital handcuffs, or those of anyone still collaborating with BorgSoft's enshittification of the once-open "PC" (x86).
(2/?)
Been soldering a lot of Kailh brown key switches lately. #mnt
