Saturday has finally arrived, after slowly surfacing from under the duvet!

A somewhat cloudy & overcast day here in deepest, darkest Yorkshire, but the sun is trying to fight thru!
There's rumours that we might hit 16ºC later.

Feeling mildly sorry for myself as the flu jab has kicked in & I'm feeling a little under the weather with it - but nowhere near as bad as when I have the Covid jab so there's that!

No plans for today, so we'll see where the day takes us.

Friday blew in like the Wicked Witch of the West, howling around the rooftops in the early hours & dumping ½ the Irish Sea on us. This is before Storm Amy gets her grotties on us!

This morning has been a bit of a disaster for various reasons which I won't bore you with. It's not done yet though - I have to chase down the folks who supplied the over ox for my MiL's electricity meter in about an hour as they reckon they haven't been paid!!! 🙄🤦‍♂️ Tough you scammers, I have proof it got paid!!
And those folk in the States thought they had problems with angry squirrels!!!!!

Friday has bounded in, but seems disappointed that its enthusiasm isn’t shared.
Last seen wandering off in search of coffee muttering about how the weekend gets a far better reception!

Tired this morning despite a decent chunk of sleep.

In theory Steve the washing machine man will be over later today to replace the dodgy pipe, time will tell!

Other than that I have no plans for the da, I will see what the day brings.

A boisterous gang of three young grey squirrels just arrived for a playful romp on our back step. I managed to get a nice shot of two of them before they disappeared.

A grey squirrel can be seen sitting on the edge of a planter. Another one peeps over the wall before jumping down onto my dahlias. Not too much damage done!
