To bridge your Bluesky account into the fediverse and interact with people there, log in here, then click the Enable button. Alternatively, you can bridge your account by following @ap.brid.gy on Bluesky.
After a few minutes, your Bluesky account will appear in the fediverse as @[handle]@bsky.brid.gy. For example, @snarfed.bsky.social on Bluesky is bridged into the fediverse as @snarfed.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy.

While I was lying in the hammock yesterday (clicking on my iPhone), I started thinking about the current state of the "Twitter diaspora", the cross-posting, bridging and separation… and I ended up with this blog post 😅
TLDR: let's try to settle on the open networks, Bluesky & Fedi, let's connect them well, and let's move away from Twitter.

@coop I see that the #Bridgy system to share posts between the Fediverse and Bluesky now allows server admins to opt-in for their instance (I don't know if that would still let individuals opt-out).

Is this something we want to consider for #CoSocialCa ? I'm in favour of using Bridgy personally, though I wouldn't want to force others if they preferred not to use it. How do other members of our community feel about it?

Does anybody know why posts (that contain images) from Bluesky profiles that are bridged to the fediverse via Bridgy Fed don't show up in my pixelfed.social feed once I follow them there?
