just received my first #BridgyFed notification from a non-bridged #Bluesky user...
…this new @anewsocial feature is really nifty
Does anyone know if there is a problem with @bsky.brid.gy ?
It seems my bridged account stopped syncing two days ago?
Please @quillmatiq, spend some money on a UI/UX designer. How am I supposed to recommend artists bridge their accounts when I have to send them to this?
Yess! 🙏 This should hopefully made bridging threads with back-and-forth replies between B/M accounts more reliable 🎉
Related to @pluralistic thread: the largest (by far) not-Bluesky ATproto stack is #BridgyFed. But, because of toxic attitudes on Fedi, Bridgy users are cut off from seeing most Bluesky users, even if those users follow their accounts.

Bridge as a service...
Reflecting on justbsocial.eu's recent launch, I wonder whether @anewsocial@mastodon.social is thinking about creating a bridge as a service product to connect existing social networks to the fediverse.
Having them start from scratch is a barrier in many ways!

My every-so-often reminder for folks on #Bluesky to bridge their accounts.
It's really easy and more people can see your posts/music recommendations/photos of Wimpy restaurants (although that last one might be @darkoutside.co.uk@bsky.brid.gy-specific).👇

Does BridgyFed Bluesky bridge already work without that follow back and forth nonsense?
While I was lying in the hammock yesterday (clicking on my iPhone), I started thinking about the current state of the "Twitter diaspora", the cross-posting, bridging and separation… and I ended up with this blog post 😅
TLDR: let's try to settle on the open networks, Bluesky & Fedi, let's connect them well, and let's move away from Twitter.

Half way thru and already a great discussion....Glad to see DTI there too. And good to hear Meta's latest takes on their fediverse efforts. Interesting too the Bluesky and Mastodon users in the audince by hands raised.... And cool that #BridgyFed gets a call out 18 mins in -- @quillmatiq

Is this something we want to consider for #CoSocialCa ? I'm in favour of using Bridgy personally, though I wouldn't want to force others if they preferred not to use it. How do other members of our community feel about it?
