Lots of catkins on the Hazel trees around here now. Most still aren't properly open but a few at Jubilee Lake in Royal Wootton Bassett were in full flower already. #WildflowerHour #Wiltshire #Bloomscrolling #botany #plants #flowers #wildflowers #photography

Felt like I searched every Hazel with male catkins yesterday looking for a female flower. Eventually found literally one in the whole park (Jubilee Lake in Royal Wootton Bassett). I spent yesterday watching some games in the National Softball League at #FarnhamPark just north of #Slough. Of course I took some time off to inspect the weeds' Why would anyone neglect to do that? Common Mallow and Catsear growing on an earth mound around one of the car parks.
