Doing an extra loop on my way to work. Turned around as there were snow fields in steep area. Don't have the time and equipment to cross it safely.
View is still good to where I reached.

Mache eine extra Schlaufe auf dem Weg ins Geschäft. Kehrte bei einem Schneefeld im steilen Gelände um. Mir fehlt heute die Zeit und Ausrüstung, um es sicher zu begehen.
Die Aussicht ist schon hier nicht schlecht.

My official time for the Trail Half Marathon was 2:13:11, round about 600m EG.

All goals reached:
- have fun ✅
- finish ✅
- faster than last year ✅

A nice event, well organized and best to keep me motivated throughout the year.
The Hummus wrap one hour before the start worked surprisingly well. No need for food whilst the run.

After digesting my DNF on Oslo Bergen Trail, I started thinking about my next project. I quickly decided that it would be a solo adventure and not a race. Mainly to leave the pressure off my shoulders. The Eifelsteig is a permanently marked long distance trail through the Eifel in Germany.

Strava goes bonkers and is apparently drunk by filing a lawsuit against Garmin. Get some 🍿to either watch the video or read the article or both. Glad I gave up on Strava last year after their API and AI fiasco. And them going for an IPO will not make things better.
