Is anyone interested in a citrus thread similar to my big pepper thread?
It would take longer to put together but would have points in companion planting, listing varieties comparing economy of space to yield, scientific research and agricultural practices, using the whole fruit, etc.
I grow and use a lot of citrus and have come across a lot of stuff in my research that is not well known.

I’ve been reading about the Open Source Seed Initiative and impressed at how quickly it’s taken off as an individual volunteer-led movement.
In less than 15 years, they’ve got hundreds of varieties of plants registered and sold by seed companies, while keeping the rights to the genetic material in public domain for future crop breeders.
This commitment to openness is important for the future of humanity and biodiversity in a rapidly changing climate.
