Hello, all. I just got started sketchbooking with #Ink#LineAndWash and #Watercolor & enjoying the experience.
I like the idea of being OK making bad art because it is only purposeful for me and getting stuff out and just zoning in on making art.
Here looking for a creative community and to be surrounded by awesome artists! Super perfect or top tier art is cool and all, but more interested in normal folks exploring making art and filling out a #Sketchbook.

I'm very happy with this watercolor of a barn swallow! A friend took the picture. It's my first painting on Arches paper (7x10 cold-press) using Derwent water brushes, Sakura Koi paints with a tiny bit of white gouache and black pigment ink. I hope you like it too!

My partner got me a set of gouache paints for my birthday. I decided to break them in with a sketch of a scene I saw at our suet feeder yesterday: a grackle staring down a blue jay over taking too long at his turn.
