I really could care less what it's up to. Whatever `fileproviderd` "needs" to do, it surely can be done without eating so damn much CPU time!

I bought an ARM-based Mac because of the efficiency. Longer battery life and less hot-plate action.
I would like to see a NixOS config toggle to switch to #Sequoia. RPM already is migrating to Sequoia (https://rpm.org/wiki/Releases/4.18.0) and I've heard that Debian may do to the same. And I'm a classical RIIR hater.
