Der Wald entlang der Trasse leuchtet in intensiven Herbstfarben von Orange, Gelb und Rot. Im Vordergrund links und rechts wächst niedriges Gebüsch und Gras, beleuchtet von der Sonne. Im Mittelgrund öffnet sich die Szene auf eine weite Seelandschaft mit tiefblauem Wasser, umrahmt von Wäldern. Im Hintergrund dominiert ein markanter, pyramidenförmiger Berg die Szene. Birds in a Winter Forest is a handmade paper collage by artist Karen Kaspar. In a snowy winter landscape in soft blue tones, three bright red birds sit on bare branches of tall, slender tree trunks that stand out in dark brown against the light winter background. Large white snowflakes are falling. The tree trunks and branches were painted on paper with acrylic paint and then mounted as a collage on the watercolor background and combined with the watercolor birds. The winter picture is minimalist and conveys a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
