After spending nearly ten years avoiding social media, I’ve found my way to #Fosstodon

With all the other platforms, the things that matter to me disappear into endless digital clutter, and the algorithms pull my focus in to directions I never chose.

I have recently been missing this sense of community and I’m not sure what I’ll find here or will this experience end after the post you are reading right now, but I’ll give it a try.

Sooo, QWeb has it's own Mastodon server now, hence my migration from #fosstodon - sorry @Gina and co! I know how big of a loss this must be for everyone 😆

I've been on Fosstodon since I first joined Mastodon, but it just doesn't make any sense for me to admin a server and not migrate my own account to it really. End of a chapter I suppose. 😢

I've set up Miniflux, and I need some good, reliable RSS feeds for FOSS news, technology in general, cybersecurity and gaming.

And I don't want feeds that puke out a hundred posts a day, just to put SOMETHING out there. A single, meaningful and entertainig post a day or even every couple of days is completly acceptable, and even preferred.
