Hey #Massholes: cheaper electric rate if you have a #heatpump for winter heat. I just found the #Eversource form page today.
A friend got an email that they were auto-enrolled, but I was not. You should check.

Several months ago we needed to replace our washer and dryer and decided to get one of the combined washer/dryer machines that use a heat pump for the drying. We've had consistently lower electricity bills since then even after also installing a HVAC heat pump and using it for cooling this summer. #heatpump
Hello you knowledgeable beings of the fediverse.
I have a heat recovery unit waiting to go in while I seal up my house, but it's becoming increasingly obvious now that where I live in about 10 years time the climate will necessitate some kind of cooling as well, so as I've not purchased the originally planned air to water heat pump, what would be my options?
Location is the South West bit of Ireland
Boosts appreciated

Does anyone out there know anything about heat pumps? We were thinking of having them installed, but a local contractor in Maine told us it would cost us $38,000 to put in a system. I was under the impression that a system would cost $4,000 to $10,000. Am I wrong to think that $38,000 is way too expensive? #HeatPumps#HeatPump#Home#House #Winter#Maine
