This video shocked me.
YouTube is killing its own content creators by allowing accounts that illegally copies and republishes other people’s content.
Christophe Haubursin looked into this, and called up one of the copycats, who was running 6 channels and had received several YouTube awards… for stealing content from other channels.
I often spend 3-4 weeks making a video. The copycats steel them and reupload in 10 minutes. Who can compete with that?
Social media is an "unhealthy online environment" 🤒
The problem lies with the business model that underpins these monopolistic platforms: they promote ragebait to rake in the money.
