This is often what happens with representational diversity: when the incentives change, they abandon it because it was a façade to begin with.
Truly inclusive diversity requires a larger cultural change, which is much more difficult, and has to be a priority directed from the top and rewarded/celebrated at the bottom. This includes things like getting rid of people who won’t get on board and incentivizing improvements which doesn’t always happen. #diversity #inclusion #dei
