When you beat the later levels, Linux restarts the whole game over but in hard mode. Sure, I've installed MySQL on Debian before, but this time around there's extra challenges - like the GPG signature on <https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.4/en/checking-gpg-signature.html>, which, if you look closely, has an extra 'V' character appended to the beginning of the key. Notice how the column doesn't align? When you run it through `gpg --dearmor`, you get a fun error "invalid dearmor" error.
